Korean diplomat A is accused of sexually molesting a white male worker 3 times when he worked at the Embassy of New Zealand in 2017. The victim claims that A offered to help fix the computer at the embassy's office around November 2017 and claims that A had squeezed his butt from behind. Shortly thereafter, grabbed the victim's groin and waist belt in the building elevator where the embassy was, the victim told the local police. The victim continued to work in the same building as A, and had not received any protection even after raising an issue with the embassy, and was reported to have been molested again in December of that year. However, A returned home early the following year without any investigation.
He made excuses saying "How can it be considered sexual harassment if he's bigger than me? What's the problem touching each other's butt and groin a bit if we're the same gender?"
