Q. You made a comeback with your second mini album. How do you feel?
Leo: I know so many fans have been looking forward to our new album, and that's why we've really worked hard on the album. Please give us your love and support.
Ravi: Yeah, it has been a long time since we released our album as VIXX LR, and we're prepared to show a new side of ourselves.
Q. Tell me about your title track "Whisper".
Ravi: We put so much effort into the song, and I'm sure the song is very sophisticated.
Leo: Yeah, we took part in writing all of our new songs, and I'm sure our new album is very trendy and fancy.
Q. What do you think is the difference between your new album and the previous one?
Ravi: When we released our first album in 2015, we had to care much about our concept because it was our first album and we're a sub unit of VIXX, a k-pop boy group which is well known for its unique concept. However, this time, we cared much about what we like and what we want to do. As a music producer, my goal was to make a very characterful album.
Q. What do you think is the difference between VIXX LR and VIXX?
Ravi: VIXX LR's music is totally different from that of VIXX. As VIXX, we try to highlight our unique concept. However, as VIXX LR, we try to make good music and do what we want to.
Leo: When we release our album as VIXX, what's most important is our concept. So, after our concept is chosen, we do all the things about our songs, music videos and jacket photos to highlight the concept. However, when we release our album as VIXX LR, what's most important is our music because we produce and make our songs.
Q. What did the rest VIXX members say about your new album?
Ravi: N said he couldn't wait to listen to our new song. And the other members said they'll come to support us when we'll perform at music chart shows. I'm so thankful for their support.
Leo: We listened to our title track "Whisper" together with all the members. They said it's great.
Q. What kind of message did you want to deliver through your new album?
Leo: We sometimes feel anxiety for the future and are overwhelmed by the mighty wall of harsh reality too. We wanted to express all the feelings through our new album.
Q. Do you think you two have a lot in common with each other?
Leo: Well, actually, there are many differences between us. He thinks of things I've never thought of. His melody lines and lyrics are totally different from mine, and that's why I'm sure we can create a great synergy.
Ravi: Yeah, we're quite different from each other, but we make a perfect team. He has his own musical characteristics and I love it.
